But I thought it was more celebratory - a place where you can shut out the light and have your own private time to contemplate whatever in your life, or love and everything [...] Then we went upstairs and it presented me with a different angle [...] But then the fact that [the song] is about inside and outside - looking out of the windows upstairs [...] seeing all the people and the grey buildings - it so relates to Glasgow.'
