   Many of the photographs revealed the dilapidated state of the building - the layers of its crumbling fabric showing evidence of its changing functions and fortunes.  

 

  

Rather than hiding the exisiting window displays - of the Britannia Panopticon Trust’s music hall memorabilia and the Mitchells’ Amusement Arcade neon signage - the photographs installed for glimmers in limbo formed a permeable layer through which they could be glimpsed.
